Second Baptist has been a part of our community for the past 120 years. We are blessed to have a family of faith that loves God and lives this out in their love for others. Second Baptist has active ministries for all ages and opportunities to serve and bless our community in many ways. Children, Youth, and Adults will find friends, Bible Study Groups, Ministry Opportunities and more at Second Baptist. Regardless of your faith background we would love for you to visit with us and hear about the goodness of God while experiencing His love through others. 

Second Baptist originated as a mission church of First Baptist (there's the clue for the name) and spent many years with it's primary location being on Izlar Street in Waycross. In 1989 the church purchased the former Southwood school and moved to its location on Tomberlin Rd. The church serves the community and the church through music, teaching, sports programs, fellowship opportunities and more.
