The Sunshine Group at Second Baptist Church is a welcoming community for adults 55 and older, providing opportunities for food, fellowship, and fun in a welcoming and uplifting environment.
This group meets regularly to enjoy meals, engaging activities, games, and special events. Monthly gatherings feature a variety of meals, including Soup & Sandwich Night, a Fish Fry, and a festive Christmas Celebration in December. Additionally, in early May, members participate in an Annual Gathering with Senior Adults from the Association, fostering connections beyond our church family.
