Bro. Mike is a native of Waycross and has faithfully served at Second Baptist Church since January 1996. In addition to his ministry, he has dedicated much of his life to music education as a long-time Middle School Band Director in the local school system.
A talented and passionate musician, Bro. Mike brings energy and enthusiasm to his leadership at Second Baptist. He directs the church’s choir and orchestra and oversees various children’s musicals and choirs, helping to cultivate a love for worship and music among all generations. His dedication to both church and community has made a lasting impact, inspiring many through his commitment to faith and the arts.
He and his wife, April, have two daughters, and their family is actively involved in the life and ministry of Second Baptist. Through his leadership and service, Bro. Mike continues to encourage and uplift the congregation with his love for music and ministry.
